If it’s Tuesday it must be video day! Today’s video for The Piano Prof is a technique tutorial, all about the thumb in piano playing.
I made this video about the thumb in response to a viewer’s question in the comments of a video a few weeks ago. I recorded the whole thing on Sunday night ….but TWO of the three cameras turned themselves off automatically during the session!
So, I had to re-record the entire last third of the video last night and edit the footage from three cameras together, which ended up going into the wee hours of the morning.
But I finished it, and now it’s uploaded! Every time I do a technique tutorial, I learn something new about how to streamline the process.
